Benzoin has sweet, rich, vanilla-like aroma. It has been traditionally used in friar's balsam for steam inhalations, and it is excellent for use in a nourishing blend for dry or weather-worn skin. As benzoin is a resinoid, it comes in solid form. We use an odorless diluent (benzyl benzoate) to liquefy it so that it is practical to use.
