Teddy Lester, Development Specialist/Schools: Teddy graduated from Emory and Henry College in Virginia with degrees related to the field of science. Currently, he is working on his Master's Degree in Education for Organizational Management and Training. Teddy has come to Universal Companies from the pharmaceutical industry. After five years as a pharmaceutical sales specialist and sales trainer, Teddy decided it was time for a new challenge. Teddy enjoys reading classic literature, biking, and spending time with his friends and family. After exploring the benefits the spa industry has to offer, Teddy is thrilled to become part of the Schools Team at Universal. He will be making in person visits to clients to further demonstrate Universal's commitment to the schools program.

Charlene Butts, Territory Manager: Charlene moved to Abingdon, Virginia area ten years ago from the Upper Cape Cod region of Massachusetts. Charlene's first job interview was at Universal Companies, and fortunately for us, she has been here ever since. After serving as the executive assistant to our founder and CEO, Marti Morenings, for five years and the traffic coordinator of the marketing department for three years, Charlene has been an instrumental member of the Schools Team for over a year. Charlene enjoys reading, listening to jazz and classical music, and spending time with her family especially for their Sunday escapades. Charlene looks forward to continuing to serve the schools program and thanks her customers for their continued support.

Anne-Lewis Vowell, Sales Coordinator: Anne-Lewis graduated from Emory and Henry College with a degree in business. Anne-Lewis has worked at Universal Companies for almost three years beginning in the Sales Department and most recently as a Custom Product Specialist.  In addition to this, she has been working with the distributors and looks forward to being a part of the School Team. Anne-Lewis enjoys spending time biking on the Virginia Creeper Trail, skiing and playing volleyball. Congratulations are in order as Anne-Lewis will enjoy spending time with her "new family" as she is getting married in late June. Anne-Lewis' exceptional customer service skills will be a great asset to all of the schools' customers.
