Digital Campaign Manager

This position reports directly to Director, Digital Marketing

Summary of Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a resourceful and highly motivated digital campaign expert to focus on driving revenue through various digital channels, primarily our soon-to-be-launched website. While we prefer applicants who can work onsite, we will consider the right remote candidate as well.

As our Digital Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for growing sales, converting prospects into leads, and reporting on B2B marketing campaigns for Universal Companies by implementing, tracking, and measuring marketing campaigns. Your focus will be to optimize Universal’s websites, marketing campaigns, and marketing communications. You’ll work on our email marketing, site promotions, landing pages, and site merchandising, among others.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Grow sales via optimizing campaigns, ads, and landing page performance
  • Grow email subscribers and social media followers
  • Convert site prospects into leads
  • Test and optimize email campaigns and website landing pages
  • Evaluate success of campaigns, address gaps or failures, and incorporate identified solutions in future projects
  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including trending, hit/miss, and evaluation of KPIs
  • Maintain regular measurement of the ROI of campaigns
  • Identify target markets based on data analysis, determine the desired outcomes, create detailed instructions to conduct the campaign, and formalize the success measures
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
  • Create and utilize digital/automated campaign processes for efficiency and cost control
  • Improve site visitors usage of articles, education, and other professional content

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Skills you’ve already mastered:

  • Strong proficiency in marketing campaign strategy and testing systems
  • Solid list of best practices – based on your experience – for digital marketing campaigns and plenty of ideas on what to test next
  • Delivering recommendations based on analytics regarding improvements to the web and mobile sites, emails, and marketing campaigns for enhanced customer experience and improved revenue stream
  • Execute ad hoc data analyses in response to business requests
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once with superior time-management skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, driven, team player
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment

Skills you might have:

  • A/B testing software certification
  • Google Analytics certification; Adobe Analytics, Kissmetrics, Webtrends, or other leading analytics experience
  • Experience with project management software like Wrike, Asana, or other PM software
  • Experience with HTML code or making updates to a modern ecommerce platform
  • Familiarity working in an email platform such as Marketo

Education/Experience

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in campaign management
  • Strong experience in A/B testing
  • B2B ecommerce experience preferred; B2C experience a plus
  • Shopify or other modern ecommerce platform experience a plus
  • Experience in the spa, salon, wellness, beauty, resort, medical industry (B2B) a plus
