Take Deep Breaths with Aromatherapy
March 17 • Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy can be a great way to elevate your spa or treatment room's ambience, and can mean some big returns for your retail. The ESS Breathe In Blend removes the complications of blending, making it an easy retail item for your clients to take home after treatments.
4 Uses for Your Spa & for Clients at Home
For every 8 oz. (1 cup) of sea salts, add 15 drops of essential oil and 2 tablespoons of eucalyptus leaf. Stir several times until evenly distributed. Add herbal salt mixture to a container with a lid and store in a cool, dry place. This keeps indefinitely. Simply add the mixture to a tea ball, or directly in the water.
1. Deep Breaths DIY Herbal Bath Tea
Create a soothing aromatherapy experience that will help your clients relax and take a deep breath after a long day.
- French Sea Salts — These salts stand apart from many other salts because of what is crystalized within them. Clay, like what's used in many of the current mask trends, gives this gray colored salt a mineral composition of magnesium, making them ideal for oily skin.
- Eucalyptus Leaf — Excellent for hydrotherapy and post-sporting events, this leaf adds a cooling aroma and sensation to this blend.
3. In the Shower
Add 5-6 drops to the floor of the shower. When your client turns on the water, the entire shower will become an aromatherapy experience!
4. Personal Wellness
Add 2-3 drops to an inspiration stone or aromatic jewelry for a daily ritual of mindfulness.
