Sanitize Air & Surfaces with Lighting

Sanitization can be as easy as turning on a light! Cleanse® Retrofit Troffer utilizes a combination of air filtration with UV (A+C) light to sanitize air, inactivate pathogens, and decrease contamination while providing comfortable healthy light in your spa. You can easily retrofit any existing standard 2' x 4' luminaire in as little as 15 minutes to an air sanitizing LED luminaire without breaching the plenum, keeping facility disruptions and installation cost at a minimum.

This ultra-efficient multi-stage air sanitization process utilizes easy-to-replace HEPA/charcoal filter and UV LED (A+C) modules. It achieves 99.9% removal rate among four common airborne pathogens responsible for most hospital acquired infections. UV LEDs have four times the life expectancy (24-month) without the safety concerns of hazardous material exposure or waste disposal in comparison to traditional mercury-based bulbs.

For optimal sanitization performance, Healthe recommends replacing carbon/HEPA filter every 6 months and UV LED after every 2000 hours of usage. 5-year limited warranty, filter, and UV LED module are consumable parts. ETL, FCC, and CE certified.

What Are the Differences Between the 3k/4k/5k Troffers?

3000K: This troffer features Healthe’s patented True Circadian™ spectrum technology with a standard 3000K LED bulb that produces soft white or warm white light. This light is ideal for treatment rooms and relaxation areas. Your spa can ensure a clean environment that’s not harmful to guests while also creating a relaxing atmosphere.

4000K: This troffer features Healthe’s patented True Circadian™ spectrum technology with a standard 4000K LED bulb that produces a bright white or cool toned color that gives a warm effect, but it’s bright enough to work beneath it. This light is brighter than the 3000K LED bulb, but it still has a warm glow.

5000K: This troffer features Healthe’s patented True Circadian™ spectrum technology with a standard 5000K LED bulb that produces a bright daylight color. This bulb is much brighter than the 3000K and also brighter than and not as warm as the 4000K LED bulb. The 5000K is great where brighter light is needed, such as kitchen/break room, bathrooms, or basement areas.

Features & Benefits

-Multi-stage air sanitization features HEPA-Carbon activated filtration with UV sanitization

-HEPA filter captures up to 99.97% of airborne pathogens as small as 0.3 μ while activated carbon reduces gases, odors and VOC from the air.

-Easily retrofits into any existing 2' x 4' troffer without breaching plenum—keeping facility disruptions and installation costs to a minimum.

-Recommended 8'–10' on center spacing, Troffer provides 800 ft³ of sanitizing coverage and conducts four air changes per hour (50cfm) for a 10' x 10' x 8' space.

-Advanced control features via proprietary Bluetooth wireless switch enable fan speed adjustments and dimming capabilities for general illumination.

-UV LED are safe to use without hazardous material and waste disposal concerns of a low-pressure mercury UV lamp.

About Healthe Cleanse Solutions

Healthe Cleanse solutions use combinations of ultraviolet (UV) light and air filtration to decrease airborne pathogens in high traffic locations. By employing ultraviolet (UV) technology, the Cleanse sanitization process modifies and destroys the genetic material (DNA/RNA) of bacteria and viruses preventing further replication.

While not replacing the traditional methods of cleaning and sanitizing air, surfaces, and personal items, integrating Cleanse products into normal cleaning routine reduces microbes in your spa or salon.

How Does UV Light Sanitization Work?

Light is comprised of different wavelengths, each with their own unique properties. The germicidal properties of ultraviolet (UV) light, part of the non-visible spectrum, can be harnessed to effectively sanitize the air, water and surfaces. At the appropriate wavelength and fluence (dose), exposure to ultraviolet light modifies or destroys the genetic material (DNA and RNA) in viruses, bacteria and mold, preventing replication.

Healthe air and surface sanitizing products employ various combinations of UV light and filtration to inactivate pathogens, including Far UV-C (200-230nm), UV-C (231-280nm) and UV-A (365nm).

What is the Effectiveness of UV and Is it Safe for Humans?

The effectiveness of UV on inactivating or destroying microbes depends on the microorganism’s structure, size and resilience, in addition to the UV exposure parameters including duration of exposure, wavelength and intensity.

Studies* have shown that continuous low doses of far- UVC radiation results in no harm to humans. The far-UVC light does not penetrate the top layer of the skin or the tear layer of the eye. The smaller cell structure of viruses and bacteria allow the far-UVC light to penetrate and cause damage.
