Float Pods Bring in Hands-Free Sales!

Maximize your ROI without wasting valuable scheduling time for your staff with Float Pod® Relaxation Chambers. Float Rooms are terrific options for clients who might be uncomfortable in a closed pod or tank. Individuals taller than 6'2" are easily accommodated with the larger tank. It’s even possible for 2 people to float at the same time. Royal Spa® open float tanks are designed for use in spas and float centers. They serve as the basis for creating your own custom float room. The tub and equipment are manufactured in Indianapolis, Indiana in the U.S.

Pump

  • This model features an energy efficient pump that is just the right size to turn over the solution without creating other problems. An unnecessarily large pump forces too much salt into the air. This is especially bad for HVAC systems, electronic components, and computers. Worst of all, it drives away customers because of the negative impact on air quality! The pump is very quiet. It can run in one room while someone floats in the room beside it without disturbing their treatment. The pump also doesn’t overheat the solution.

Purification & Filtration

  • The Float Room uses a simple and inexpensive filter available at any pool supply store in the U.S. Placement of the filter inside the tank helps prevent spillage of the solution on the surrounding floor. It also protects the pump motor and electrical components. Tanks are also equipped with dual skimmers with ozone and UV purification. This ensures the surface integrity of the solution.

Control System

  • The system also offers a computer-controlled system for business operators who want to control multiple tanks at once. This allows central control of the tanks for starting and stopping the circulation process, lighting, and music. There are also simpler components for in-room controls.

Heating System

  • A 3,000 watt, flowthrough titanium heating system creates approximately 10,000 BTUs, which are needed to ensure the salt can melt in a reasonable amount of time. Under the tank, there is a waterbed style heating system which operates during a float treatment. These two 500 BTU elements help replace heat that is lost while a person is in the tank.

Ventilation & Materials

  • Convective currents inside the pod create fresh air for the client while the lid is closed. Unlike competitors who use polyester based resin, Float Pods use a specialized resin formulated for chemical storage tanks. Magnesium sulfate solutions are particularly destructive. A regular polyester resin will blister over time from contact with the solution.

Lighting & Audio

  • The tank has a single window with 3 lighting options: 24 LEDs, 9 LEDs, or a single blue LED (recommended). Multi-colored options are available. All Float Pods feature a 3.5 mm input jack, while Bluetooth is optional (the pairing process can be difficult for users in a multiple tank setting).
