MTI Baths Savoy Slipper Soaker Tub
Description
At the end of the 19th century, claw foot tubs were considered to be a luxury item. Originally manufactured in cast iron and lined with porcelain, various styles with claw “feet” were available. One type was known as a “slipper tub” because of its shape, where one end was raised higher than the rest of the tub and featured a sloping backrest, perfect for leaning back while enjoying a lengthy soak. The Savoy is a slipper tub that cradles your guest’s upper body as they lean back. The backrest surface is contoured vertically, horizontally, and diagonally to comfortably caress for a long, relaxing soak. And the material used is state-of-the art and helps retain bath water heat far longer than cast iron ever could. The Savoy is made in the USA and constructed using MTI’s "ESS (Engineered Solid-Surface) material, a mixture of ground natural minerals and binding agents that are liquefied, poured, and then hardened. Approximately 60% of the material includes minerals mined from the earth and dirt, so it feels like natural stone. Because the surface is non-porous, it is naturally resistant to stains. Dimensions: Comes standard in White or Biscuit matte finish.Specifications
•Dimensions: 66" x 34.325" x 31.5"•Installed By: Client's Contractor
