Offer your clients drug-free pain relief* by using kinesiology tape at the end of a massage. Then, to help them reduce discomfort between appointments, recommend kinesiology taping for home care. Taping alleviates pressure on pain receptors, provides a physical barrier to harmful range of motion, and aids in muscle recovery.
Designed by doctors and engineers, SpiderTech’s pre-cut designs feature a patented numbering system. This makes it easy to just snap and stick! The Pre-Cut Lower Back Tape helps support and stabilize the muscles in the lower back, helping to reduce discomfort, prevent injury, and promote better posture.
SpiderTech tape is water-resistant, latex-free, and made with hypoallergenic glue in a safe, sterile environment. If the tape is applied on clean, dry skin without touching the adhesive with fingers, it will last around 10 days through showers and sweat. For best results, remove hair prior to adhesion.

How to Apply
Lower back pain is commonly aggravated by prolonged sitting or standing and activities that involve hinging at the hips, such as vacuuming. SpiderTech’s Pre-Cut Lower Back Tape provides effective pain relief as well as spinal support and alignment., so your clients can continue doing the things they love.
1. Unfold the Spider. Fold and tear along the perforations marked by black lines. Make sure to tear through the paper and don’t pull the paper off the tape.
2. Hold Sections 2 and 3 on one side and peel the backing of Section 1 off halfway. Fold the paper back on itself to create a tab. Remember to avoid touching the adhesive in this process.
3. With the patient standing upright, center the Spider on the lower back. Section 2 should come up along either side of the spine.
4. Rub over the tape to make sure it adheres to the skin.
5. Hold all other sections up against the back and peel off the remaining backing of Section 1. Lay down and rub the rest of the tape.
6. Ask the client to bend forward and stretch out the lower back (or tuck their tailbone in if stretching causes discomfort).
7. Tear off the backing of Section 2 and lay the tape on either side of the spine without any stretch. Repeat on the opposite side.
8. Tear off the backing of Section 3 and lay the tape angled towards the armpits with no stretch. Repeat on the opposite side.
9. Rub over the entire Spider to ensure adhesion.
10. When the client stands upright, you should see ripples in the tape. This indicates the tape is lifting the skin and relieving pressure in the area.
