Being a part of the wellness industry uniquely positions you to instill hope and make a positive impact on the lives of women everywhere. These ideas will help you do that:
1. Collect Donations
Show clients you care and give them the opportunity to make a difference by collecting donations of various items or monetary donations. Want to spice things up? Create themed goodie bags to bring a smile to patients' faces!
2. Offer Services Just for Breast Cancer Patients
Cancer, along with the treatments required to fight it, are extremely hard on the body and mind. Research suggests that one in three cancer patients deal with some form of emotional distress that can significantly impact the prognosis of the disease.
Providing services that aim to enhance overall wellness can have a lasting, positive impact on the lives of women dealing with this disease. Massage, for example, has been extensively studied in cancer patients and has shown to now only improve patients’ mental health, but also has the ability to support the immune system and provide an alternative method for pain management.
