Brand Education Specialist

Position Title/Status: Brand Education Specialist/Exempt                              Department: Sales

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Brand Education Specialist is responsible for developing, delivering, and continuously improving customer training programs that support the Corporate Sales and Marketing teams, with primary emphasis on Universal Companies’ Signature and Focus brands. This role leads the creation of training content, treatment protocols, and educational experiences that strengthen brand and product knowledge, technical skills, and treatment confidence, resulting in customer brand adoption and success, and revenue growth. The position reports directly to the Senior Sales Leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive, virtual and in-person training programs for customers across multiple formats, including written materials, presentations, videos, and interactive learning modules.

  • Educate customers on product ingredients, benefits, contraindications, and retail and merchandising best practices.

  •  Work with vendors to secure all available treatment protocols and training resources, prior to creating or developing new resources.
  • Refine or adjust treatment protocols to meet service standards/account needs.

  • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, presentations, and educational resources.

  • Prepare and deliver train-the-trainer programs to ensure consistent, effective education across accounts.
  • Demonstrate advanced facial and body treatment techniques using company equipment and professional products.

  • Design signature treatments and service concepts for key high-revenue customers to support differentiation, engagement, and sales growth.

  • Partner with Product Development and vendor partners to support protocol development, product education, and treatment innovation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support product launches, content strategy, and promotional initiatives.

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all Universal Companies’ products, services, and competitive offerings within the featured Marketing Calendar.

  • Coordinate trade show classes, educational events, and client-facing presentations in partnership with Product Development to deliver engaging, high-impact brand experiences.

  • Provide proactive and timely follow-up to all training programs and customer requests.

  • Complete administrative responsibilities, reporting, and related documentation accurately and on schedule.

  • Work effectively across a wide variety of spa environments, including resorts, hotels, destinations, day, medical, and school settings.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of active experience in the spa industry.

  • Licensed esthetician required with additional licensures in massage therapy, cosmetology, and nail tech preferred.
  • Experience training or teaching professionals with demonstrated ability to translate brand passion, technical knowledge, and service expertise into compelling training for customer and sales teams.

  • Strong technical and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Salesforce experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as a collaborative team member.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to industry events and customer locations is needed based on customer demand, training schedules, and sales priorities.

Picker/Packer

Position Title/Status:  Picker/Packer -/Non -Exempt

Department:  Distribution

Reports to:  Fulfillment Manager  

 

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Incumbent has the responsibility and accountability for picking and/or packing all customer orders from picking tickets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Picks and/or packs product from inventory bins for customer order fulfillment.  
  • Consistently picks and/or packs orders in an accurate, concise and timely manner.
  • Ensures that product picked and/or packed is of the highest quality and damaged product and/or equipment is not shipped to customer.
  • Transports picked orders to the packing line area for packing.
  • Effectively utilizes warehouse design to minimize time spent walking to each bin location.
  • Follows protocol for first-in, first-out on all products picked and informs restock when stock levels are low.
  • Consistently performs self-checks to ensure accuracy of order fulfillment.
  • Works in conjunction with restock to report stock bin discrepancies and resolve any shipping concerns.
  • Receives and answers inquiries in a polite, pleasant and timely manner.
  • Attends and participates in departmental and company meetings.
  • Performs other project work, duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Must have general understanding of pick tickets; be knowledgeable of product and equipment and familiar with stock bin locations for inventory items.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all required documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stretch, climb ladders and squat.
  • Must possess organizational and math skills and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

 

Education/Experience
