This mandelic acid peel couldn’t be more perfect!! I love how gentle it is and can be used on SO many skin types. This is a constant in my treatment room because my client loves the results they see from this chemical peel.
My client loved the way her skin looked after the peel. Made an appointment for another in two weeks!
Great peel for sensitive skin with pigmentation
We've used several different Mandelic peels in the past. This one, along with its neutralizer, is a favorite. Gentle, yet you can feel its work. Very effective.
I do love this peel. Skin is glowing afterwards.
This was recommended by another Esthetician so I wanted to try it out. I have dry skin and pigment so I feel like it’s ideal. I loved it! I LOVE Mandelic and even though I cannot eat Almonds I can use this product with no issue. That is MY personal experience —everyone has a diff level of sensitivity re: food allergies. I did not peel from this, I micro peeled and my skin looked very bright post peel. I recommend
Loving this peel so far. Will be repurchasing.
This peel provides an excellent skin resurfacing & brightening effect on the skin!
Prickly, tingling, effective. A new favorite for my backbar. Used on many of my clients some were nervous because of the tingling but it self neutralizes and calms down nicely.
I've tried a few and I like the results with this the best for sensitive or sensitized skin, slightly oily skins too
Love this peel! It can be used on all skin types with a wonderful result. Clients are very pleased. You won’t be disappointed when adding this peel to your list of services.
Haven’t performed this peel yet but excited to and rating a 5 due to the clean ingredient list as I am very holistic and do not appreciate all the toxic chemicals so common to the beauty business being a health coach as well!
The GLOW this gives my clients! Such a gentle peel to get rid of dark spots and acne scarring!
It's a decent peel that isn't too stinging when applied on clients skin
I typically use Mandelic for sensitive acne-prone skin, but be careful on hyper sensitive skin. On rosacea patients, I find this peel to amp up the redness in the cheeks and prefer enzymes for these cases.
Great for acne clients!
This product has a zing to it so I fan my clients during treatment, but it does give great results without irritation. I usually follow with some type of cooling treatment since it's a bit spicy. It says safe for sensitive skin but do be sure to give your clients a heads up that they will feel it and could be a little tender for a day or so.
I have used mandelic acid peels in the past, love them and I am very pleased that I found the 25% mandelic peel via Universal!
This is a good peel. It seems to be a little stronger than my lactic peel, but not too strong. I have been using it regularly and the results are very good.
I found this peel gentle yet effective. Can be used after enzymes fora double surface exfoliation.
This peel give wonderful results for a sensitive skin. Brings it back to life! It works well on all skin types, it’s just nice to have a peel that give such nice results with a more sensitive skin type.
nice and gentle
I like to use this type of peel for my Fitzpatricks 4-6. It’s a much safer option for those skin types in comparison to other types of peels.
Hello,
To clarify max only 2 layers? 5 min layer 1 then 10 min layer 2? Since its self neutralizing does it matter how long 2nd layer last since it doesnt need neutralizer? and can a calming mask be placed over it?
Thank you!
Hi Adriana,
Great question! The full protocol is listed at the link below. We do not recommend going over the time suggested.

Does this peel need to be neutralized? If it does what is the protocol?
Hi Jessica,
Great question! This peel is self neutralizing. Also, you can click the link below for the protocol.

Does it need an exfoliation prior to using it? How long should it stay on?
Hi Erina,
Thanks for reaching out! Below you will find a link to the Mandelic protocol. It will answer your questions.

Can I please have the protocol emailed to me? I just ordered this peel and then read the questions and according to the questions it doesn’t look like the protocol comes with the product. My email is nikky.facekcmedspa@gmail.com.
Thank you in advance.
Hi Nikky,
We have emailed you the protocol as requested. Please watch for an email from universalcompanies
Hi There,
I was a little unclear regarding this protocol. Is this left on for 5-6 min. after all layers are applied or starting when the first layer us applied? Dont want to over process...
Hi Cherie,
Thank you for your question! If this is the client's first 25% Mandelic Acid Peel, there should be a maximum of 2 layers applied. The professional should apply the first layer, begin the 5 minute time frame, and then proceed with the second layer. The goal is to increase the number of layers applied to 5 and the processing time up to 10 minutes over the course of 6 sessions. We hope this helps and please let us know if we can answer any other questions.
