Historical & Interesting Facts
- Marble has been used since ancient Greece and Rome to cool the body, refresh the mind, and soothe inflammation after exertion—temple attendants would rub smooth stones across the face and limbs in early versions of contrast therapy
- In Ayurvedic and traditional Eastern practices, cold stones are sometimes used to calm pitta energy (heat, inflammation, reactivity) and quiet the nervous system
- Roman bath attendants are believed to have used polished marble for rudimentary gliding and placement techniques—an early form of what MTs today would recognize as temperature-based muscle work
- Modern sports therapists and bodyworkers often use marble to deliver precise cooling without the distraction of melting ice or overly cold cryo tools—offering targeted relief with a more spa-friendly approach
- Marble's high thermal conductivity means it stays cool longer than many other stones, making it ideal for yin-style techniques or finishing sequences that promote rest-and-digest response
Care, Use, and Safety
- Best used cool or at room temperature—perfect for reducing puffiness, calming the nervous system, or refreshing the face and eye area
- Chill in cold water or the refrigerator—do not freeze
- For easy access during a service, place stones in a rubber or stainless steel bowl filled with chilled water and keep nearby on your workstation or facial trolley
- Marble may be gently warmed for short durations in contrast therapy, but it does not retain heat like basalt or soapstone—use only if light warming is needed
- If warming, use the Theratools Warming Tray or Mobile Warming Bag, and always test temperature on your inner forearm before application
- Wash with warm soapy water, then disinfect using an EPA-registered spray or wipe
- Avoid dropping or exposing to extreme temperature changes
- Let dry fully before storing

Marble eye stones designed to reduce puffiness and soothe tired eyes. Some customers said they're "very soothing" and bring "immediate results," with clients loving them. However, many report significant sizing issues—stones are too large and heavy, causing them to slide off faces during treatments. Several shoppers note they don't stay in place without tape or manual holding.

My clients love these !
The stones do not fit the way they are shown and are heavy.
Do NOT buy these. They do NOT stay on the face. People laid on the esthetics table, men, women, big, small…..even tried putting it on top a jelly mask. They do not stay on. Tried different positions….these things are a scam. They don’t work. Then the customer service tries to argue when I called to return them cause clearly they are faulty by design. I even Laid down & tried them on myself to make sure I wasnt Crazy. I fill out the return form and rather than get info about how to return I get an email to review. They are seriously wilding! Don’t waste $40 on these - just don’t do it.
I really like the weight of these stone, unfortunately you have to hold the stones in place if you want them over the eyes.
Unfortunately I had to return these as they were big and heavy
They’re way too big. They don’t even stay on your clients face. Fall right off.
Size is on the larger size, not many clients can use them
Of course I bought them is nice I coverings for under our LEDs but they are very big for most women‘s eyes and so don’t stay in place and they’re a bit heavy if they same place I could deal with the heaviness because that’s not that bad but I have yet to actually keep them on a client unless I hold them there so I’m actually gonna try to return these I think that would be great for men or using more as a massage tool
I am so happy I discovered and ordered these eye stone . Very soothing for tired and puffy eyes.
They are a bit bulkier then expected, which cause them to fall to the side when I try placing them over the eyes. Was able to fix that problem by placing surgical tape to both stones to keep in place.
These stones bring down puffiness in the eye area and are a perfect accompaniment with an eye mask for an add on treatment.
I’m super disappointed with this product. I’m not sure whose face they’re designed to fit but I’ve attempted to use them on myself and a few of my clients and they just slide right off every time. They seem like they would be perfect and feel amazing if they were just a little smaller and able to rest in the orbit properly, but due to this design flaw I can’t use them for much more than paperweights.
