Enhance your massage services with Himalayan salt!
Made of Himalayan salt, this ergonomic oval massage tool contours to the natural shape of the hand providing ease of use. Salt stones can be used either hot or cold and will last a long time when kept away from water and treated with proper care.
Small: This size is perfect for smaller hands and glides well over the client’s body. It’s an excellent choice for overall body work, especially smaller muscle areas. Both the flat and edge surfaces can be used for effleurage techniques. 3" L x 2" W x 1" Thick
Large: This size is perfect for larger hands and glides well over the client’s body. It’s an excellent choice for overall body work, especially deeper work over large muscle areas. Both the flat and edge surfaces can be used for effleurage techniques. 4" L x 2.5" W x 0.75" Thick
Heated salt stone massage works as a complete service or can be used as an enhancement for current treatment options. When salt stones are used in massage with heat, they gently exfoliate, improve circulation, and can reduce aches and pains. The relaxing effects can decrease stress and promote an overall improved sense of well-being.
Himalayan salt is comprised of over 84 different minerals and trace elements. It gets its brightly colored rosy hue from magnesium, potassium, and calcium.
Cleaning & Care
After the end of each service–
1. Spray Thymo-Cide on stones, enough to dampen them.
2. Leave disinfectant on stones for about 10 minutes, the recommended kill time of the product.
3. Wipe off stones with a clean cloth.
4. Place stones back on the stone warmer to reheat. (Placing a towel over the warmer will help expedite the warming time.)
80 Grit Sandpaper can be used to smooth out any imperfections caused by damage or use.
Warnings
Do not get stones wet as this will cause them to denigrate and reduce the life of the stone.
Check Temperature before use on a client.
Recommended Temperature is 97 to 104° F
Sanitize and disinfect salt stones between clients with an EPA-registered disinfectant, such as Thymo-Cide.
