Skin that is inflamed, sensitive, injured, or irritated–even from harsh exfoliants or by too close a shave–is more susceptible to scarring. Calming Balm serum helps skin help itself by softening skin’s surface, reducing inflammation, and accelerating healing.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient: Hydrocortisone Acetate 0.1%. Other Ingredients: Water, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium PCA, Methylisothiazolinone.

Purpose and Benefits

For sensitive, irritated or tender skin. Healing balance is what this balm does best. Also appropriate for skin on the mend from acne or suffering from dehydration, eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, or product-sensitivity rashes.

Must-have for waxing and sensitive clients

I have used and retailed this item for over 10 years. I use it in conjunction with the Botanical Soothing Cream SPF 30. If my clients have a hint of redness, then this is a go to product for me. If someone has a red and skin condition for any reason, I recommend they use it twice a day for a week then once a day for a few weeks until everything is under control, then as needed.
