Daylight Omega 5 Mag Lamp

The quality of this light is good but I am not happy with the length of the arm.

I’ve been using this lamp for 7 months and it works great, durable and super bright!

I prefer the daylight company for all of my Mag lamps. My former model mag lamp is discontinued so I had to go for the omega 7 because of the larger magnifying lens. For a fraction of the price that the former Mag Lamp was, this isn’t as good. I wish they still sold it! I know that it’s quality because it’s daylight company but overall I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price necessarily. I did a lot of research looking at all different websites and places that sell the daylight company to try to find a compatible light. it seems there’s not many options anymore for mag lights with this company. I had bought the 5 inch omega from daylight and I returned it for this one. It works well. If cleaned with alcohol or disinfect wipes it can break down the plastic so I need to find a way to clean this effectively! It’s probably the best pick out there for a mag lamp with the movable arm and bright light settings.

Mag lamp is a good quality, but description is deceiving. It does not say that this lamp come without a stand. I did not want to pay for return shipping, that's why I kept it. If I knew I needed to buy a stand separately, I would not have purchased it. Otherwise, its good.

We love it. The design is great. It attaches very securely and moves very nicely. Your not afraid that it will bounce back and fall off.

I just replaced my older lamp with this elegant lamp. I am very happy. The light is cool and comfortable. You can regulate how much light you want. Very easy for the eyes and stays cool. Smooth movement.

Great quality Mag Lamp! Much more durable than ones we have used in the past.

Got one of these as a replacement and ended up replacing all my mag lamps. Sleek, slim design and excellent LED light plus 5 diopter make is a great lamp, albeit not inexpensive.

This light has opened up so much of the floor space in my office! It clamps easily onto your table top and is easily adjustable. The light itself has a good range of motion so you're not fighting with the inability of a cheaper design all day. I love this light!!

This mag light is nice & sturdy.

It has great lighting adjustment and clear magnification. Great steady arms.

In addition to facials, I do electrolysis which requires precision. And finding a lamp that magnifies all angles and contours of the face and body is challenging. I was hesitant due to the price of this lamp. But I average 2 lamps/yr, which is a lot of wear and tear. This lamp can be manipulated into all angles, the magnification is strong and the light can be adjusted to varying brightness. I took 1 star off because every time it’s adjusted, it clicks, loudly. No client has complained. I just find it un-relaxing. It won’t stop me from buying it again and I recommend this lamp for better magnification.

I'm happy with the light and the magnification. Before this I had a dazor. 13 years old and the paint was peeling. The dazor had 360 swivel with out adjusting. The back and forth is nice on this, but for up and down it needs adjusting and I have almost bopped a clients nose pushing it. It's going to take time for me to adjust to using it. Kinda of wishing I spent the extra money and got a dazor or another model.

This is the second lamp I purchased of this type. The view is crisp and clear and the lighting can be bright or dimmed. The adjustment holds it's position, even after years of use. It was a game changer after using mag lamps that would become floppy over time, and eventually not hold the adjustment. Love everything about this lamp. :-)

This mag lamp is the best I’ve had! There are varying levels of brightness you can choose from with the press of a button. The button is easily located just at the side of the lense. The head swivels completely so you can use the light easily for waxing and facials without having to strip the ‘ball ‘ or loosen and relock the lense/light combo every time. There is no ‘ball’ in the attachment system.
I am an Esthetician and I’ve had several other Esties come see the light and get their own!
