Details

Gelish® Foundation Base creates the adhesive bond between the nail plate and gel products without damaging the nail plate. It cures in 5 seconds in the 18G LED Light.

 

Directions

Gelish Gel Polish must be cured with LED or UV light. Apply it over Gelish Foundation. Do not apply it directly to the natural nail. It must be cured for 30 seconds under LED light or 2 minutes under UV light. Apply 2 thin coats and cure between each coat. Seal it with Top It Off. Remove with an artificial nail remover of your choice.

Can I apply this base gel to natural nails? The details say "creates bond between nail plate and gel without damaging the nail plate" but the directions say "do not apply it directly to the natural nail".

Great question, it's a little confusing! It looks like the directions on the product page are for applying Gelish Gel Polish. It means you shouldn't apply the gel polish directly to the natural nail. Instead, it should be applied over Gelish Foundation (GL322) because it's a base coat.
