Some KN95 masks I've gotten other places have an unpleasant chemical odor to them. Do the ones you sell have this?

As you can imagine these masks are very popular right now. I can tell you that we have had no reports of any "chemical" smells coming from them.



I can't guarantee that you won't notice any smell as that is a preference for each person but we do have a 30 days return policy if you decide to try them and don't love them.

Is there a silver bracket along the top of the mask? How many times can you use it?

Thank you for your question! There is a metal strip over the nose portion of the mask.



To answer the question concerning reusing the mask, there is no way of determining the maximum possible number of safe reuses of a KN95 mask as a generic number applied in all cases. Safe KN95 masks reuse is affected by a number of variables that impact mask function and contamination over time. The recommendations below are designed to provide practical advice so the KN95 masks are discarded before they become a significant risk for contact transmission or their functionality is reduced.

-Always perform hand hygiene with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer before and after touching or adjusting the mask (if necessary for comfort or to maintain fit).

-Discard KN95 masks following use during aerosol generating procedures, such as applying Aqua Net.

-Discard KN95 masks contaminated with blood, respiratory or nasal secretions, or other bodily fluids.

-Discard KN95 masks following close contact with, or exit from, the area of any person that could be contagious.

-Consider use of a cleanable face shield over a KN95 masks.
