Great question! Yes, the oil can be used in soap making. Here are a few tips.



Measure by Weight: Always measure essential oils in ounces or grams, not drops. Typical use is 0.5–1 oz per lb of base oils.



Follow IFRA Guidelines: Check Category 9 limits (rinse-off products). Avoid phototoxic citrus oils above safe levels.



Add at the Right Stage:

Cold Process: Add at light trace and blend well.

Melt & Pour: Add below 130°F (54°C) to prevent evaporation.
