However, if you put non-compostable items inside these liners, they should not be sent to commercial composting facilities. In a landfill environment, they won’t break down any faster than regular plastic bags. For proper disposal, use these bags exclusively with compostable waste and check with your local commercial composting facility to confirm acceptable materials.
